Today's route
Today we left for Weatherford. It seemed forever to get across Texas. Amarillo had a lot of construction that we had to drive past. We saw many crops growing. Cotton, peanuts, Sorgum, etc. Sorgum is feed for cattle and looks a little like corn growing, but shorter and no ears that I could see.
We pulled into Weatherford around 9pm local time and checked into our motel. We went to dinner and then back to the room to sleep. It had been a long day. We did not think it would take as long to get there as it did, but we left Roswell late because we wanted to go out to the property we offered on to take some pictures.
Just enjoy the sky as we did while traveling across Texas
