Today we leave on our adventure.

It is 3:30pm on Friday the 20th of October and Susan and I are waiting for the plane to start boarding.  The boarding area is interesting because of the art work and the modern decor of the place.

We finally board the Virgin Atlantic 747-400 and work our way down the aisles to get to our seats.  The plane is a large "jumbo" jet but the interior still seems small.  Even though the aisles are 10 seats across the beam at it's widest point.  One nice feature on Virgin Atlantic is that every passenger has their own TV view screen directly in front of them.
